Here's a little update on the community events that were
held at Little Specialty Shop in the last few weeks. The CWL
hosted a fundraiser shopping party where we were able to raise $500
towards a new boiler for the church. During the month of October, we
sold enough accessories to donate $207 to the Breast Cancer Foundation.
13 women dressed in costume for our "Grown Up Halloween Party" on
October 26th with Vickie donating $5 for each costume to the CAS
snowsuit fund. Thanks to everyone for helping us to support our
community!

Little Specialty Shop is hosting a
fundraiser for SFDCI's cheerleading squad. The girls need to raise $ to
purchase uniforms. The party will be held on Wednesday, November 14th
from 5-9pm. Tickets are just $5 with the proceeds going to the team.
We'll have food, fun, a grand prize draw, and Barb (of Personal
Pampering) will be offering "nail art" that evening. Milliwiggins and
Little Specialty Shop will each donate 10% of sales to the squad for
the evening. Come on out and show your support!
mmmmmm..... wouldn't that be a great
mother/daughter bonding time? There's nothing like a little
shopping to bring you closer!

| What a Weekend! |

November 16th and 17th, downtown Smiths
Falls will be a winter wonderland. The shops will be open late on
Friday evening and you can travel from shop to shop in a horse drawn
carriage. Outside Little Specialty Shop you can roast
marshmallows or enjoy homemade shortbreads and hot apple cider inside
while you shop. There's a FREE gift with every purchase and gift
wrapping is always included with a smile.
Moonlight Special! From 8:30-10:00 pm all
consigned clothing will be 25% OFF! It's a door-crasher special for
those who don't turn into pumpkins after dark! Our other goodies are
available all weekend.

I didn't think so. While the strong Canadian
$ is tempting, the 3 hour minimum wait at the border is a bit much !

You asked for it!
So many of you have been asking about our
"men's night" that we will be scheduling one for mid December. As is
the tradition, hubby can pay with Canadian Tire $ and we'll get
everything wrapped and ready for under the tree. Watch for details in
the store.....

From November 16th to December 21st, Little
Specialty Shop will be open on Fridays until 8pm for your shopping
convenience.
Light refreshments will be served each Friday from 4pm
to closing.
